Who We Are

My name is Tracey Karcher and my husband is Bill Warren. He and I both have served as pastors in the United Methodist Church. We enjoy enriching others lives with the equine services we are offering, from teaching beginning to advanced horsemanship to children and adults, offering trail riding in the wilderness of Southwestern Montana and also offering the unique physical advantages that riding offers the handicapped and special needs community. We also offer special events for the equestrian community of Montana!

Riding Lessons, Trail Rides, and Challenging Competition

At Thunder Ridge Ranch, we believe that the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a person.  Learning to ride safely and well will allow people who enjoy horses to make the most of their time with them. Horseback riding is a valuable type of self-care, and we want to give all people the opportunity to ride, whether they own a horse or not. Not everyone can afford to take formal lessons, compete, or even go on a relaxing trail ride. We also welcome riders with disabilities. Just the simple act of being on a horse and learning how to ride enriches the lives of riders with limited mobility. Once on a horse they are on top of the world!! The horsemanship program at Thunder Ridge will always be affordable. Ask us how you can help keep our program affordable for everyone!
